She Loves Pink: website redesign for a Bondi Junction beauty salon

A redesign of a salon website originally built on Wix: a faster site with a page for each treatment, an admin panel so the owners can edit prices, hours and services themselves, and the analytics and ad campaigns to bring in bookings.

The starting point

A busy salon on a site that was hard to grow and hard to manage.

She Loves Pink is a booking-only beauty salon on Oxford Street in Bondi Junction, Sydney. It offers nails, brows and lashes, facials and nurse-led cosmetic treatments. Its website had been built on Wix, and the salon needed something faster, easier to find on Google for each treatment, and simple enough for the team to keep up to date without calling a developer.

What I did

Redesign, easy editing, and the tools to grow.

I redesigned and rebuilt the site as a fast, static website with Astro, and redirected the old addresses with 301s so the rankings the site already had were not lost. Each main treatment now has its own page written with local search in mind (BIAB nails, lash lift or GEL-X nails in Bondi Junction), with prices, durations and answers to common questions. I built an admin panel so the salon can update prices, opening hours and services on its own, and the service menu mirrors its Fresha booking listing. I also set up Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, with booking buttons tagged so the salon can see which pages lead to bookings, and I run the salon's Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.

The result

A live site with 22 pages, and campaigns just getting started.

The site is live at shelovespink.com.au with 22 pages: home, our salon, price list, gallery, contact, careers and a dedicated page for each main treatment. The salon can now manage its own prices, hours and services. Measurement is in place, and the Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns have only just started, so visit and booking numbers will be added here once there is enough data.
